LA Galaxy vs Seattle Sounders Preview

I have 43 minutes until kick-off so let’s see how much I can get written in that time.

We take on Seattle at home tonight and we don’t come into it in hot form at all. It has been three games since we even scored and things feel rough. At the very least we do have Julian Araujo back from suspension and Yony González is likely to at least get on the bench and maybe even start. The problem is that that is kind of where the positives stop for us.

Seattle currently lead the West, we are 11th. Seattle are tied for the second most goals scored in the West, we are last. This could be tough. I am almost lost for words as to what to say about this match. It will by no means be easy.

The Sounders put seven on San Jose not too long ago. They are very good. Ruidíaz, Morris, and Loderio are all very good attacking players who can score a lot of goals. Seattle have also only conceded 11 goals all year. As I already, said we haven’t even scored in three games.

With that said, I have no idea why, but I feel strangely okay about this game. I wouldn’t write us off just yet. Maybe Yony will come in and light it up. Maybe Araujo will be fueled by his red and will kick ass. Maybe Pavón will produce some magic. I do not know. We will just have to see I suppose.

Predicted score: 2-1 LA

Scorers: Araujo and Pavón
